Our mission

Whether facilitating the settlement of a commercial dispute, arbitrating a trade dispute, or coaching a legal team, I pledge to bring my energy and experience to clients with international problems that need care, integrity and practicality.

Since my admission as a lawyer in Ontario over 25 years ago, I have worked on three continents - in private practice, in international business and as an academic. My original common law training was complemented by graduate studies in a civil law in Paris, France. In the past nine years, living in Asia has brought still another dimension to my cross-cultural career.

Business people need commercial solutions, with a minimum of fuss and expense. My approach is both principled and pragmatic. My aim is to provide the most skilled and practical service, while minimizing expense and inconvenience to clients.
